Position DescriptionTITLE: Senior Java Systems EngineerEMPLOYER: First Data Merchant Services LLCLOCATION: 9444 Waples Street, San Diego, CA 92121DUTIES: Develop and maintain web applications with highly effective user interfaces. Apply Java background and utilize coding skills. Utilize Spring frameworks including spring boot, spring mvc, JPA, and hibernate. Apply object-oriented design principles. Utilize Aurora, MySQL, Oracle SQL, MongoDB, Solr, and Redis. Design and develop Microservices. Involved in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle to deliver innovative applications. Create database design and queries for the relational (Oracle, MySQL, Aurora) and nonrelational (DynamoDB, MongoDB, NoSQL). Develop and maintain cloud-based solution components with highly effective and usable user interfaces. Work on Amazon web services and have good knowledge of AWS components ECS, IAM, Virtualization, Scaling. Good knowledge on DevOps aspects for Continuous integration using Jenkins. Work with an Agile Scrum team to develop cloud-based solutions. Participate in all aspects of Agile product development including performing test drive software development utilizing continuous integration process. Work with relational and non-SQL databases, distributed cache, and API design. Analyze use cases and requirements to design secure and scalable web applications. Integration of web services using SOAP, REST, Spring Core, and Spring MVC Boot technologies. Use web UI technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular, React.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, or a related field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered as a Staff Programmer Analyst, Senior Lead Developer/Architect, or a related position.
