What you get to do in this role: 

  • Design elegant experiences founded on world-class UX and UI practice for multiple platforms and for an extensive range of products 

  • Designing visual experiences for UI that allow users to understand affordances and task flows throughout the application 

  • Drivedesign projectsthat defineandgrow ServiceNow’s enterprise design system

  • Createdetailed documentation for both new and existing products, that focus on detailing proper usage, interactions, and visual specifications for a broad audience of designers and engineers. 

  • Guide execution of designs as it translates from concept to code

  • Help evangelize design system principles and guidelines to teams

  • Engage with product teams at a strategic level to frame what we need to build and how to get there

  • Solve UX problems through visual design that are well-defined or ambiguous in nature 

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant design experience

  • An inspiring portfolio demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered, design solutions based on human-centered design and research data

  • Strong experience working with design tools to create comprehensive high-fidelity design solutions and specifications that enforce consistency, usability, and accessibility as part of a larger system or product

  • A growth mindset, continually strengthening core skills through complex assignments and varied experience

  • Ability to build trusting relationships through clear and open communication

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience in other related fields

  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.

  • Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)

Required in Office

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

Flexible

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

Remote

A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office,including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to workwithin their state, province, region, or country of employment.
