Our client is currently seeking a

SENIOR SOFTWARE INTEGRATION ENGINEER for a PERMANENT role. This role is open to being 100% remote, but if you live in Carlsbad, CA or New York that is preferred. Below is a BRIEF job description. Please contact us for more information on this role and client.
The Senior Software Integration Engineer will serve as an integral member of the product team, this role will have direct input into the growing space of remote sensing.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Working on a full stack MERN/Postgres, messaging and microservices architecture
  • Keeping tickets up to date and maintain a steady rate of development
  • Designing interfacing strategy to make integrations consistent/repeatable
  • Working with the company’s partners to integrate their products into the company’s systems and to integrate the company's systems into its partner’s sites. Working closely with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to take their models and integrate into their software
  • Helping staff engineers to make integrations cleaner/simpler, and more intuitive
  • Providing for the reporting of how integrations are used and billed with the reporting team
  • Assisting the engineering team to increase API access to partner data, when necessary
  • Engaging in partner calls to discuss integrations with partners

Requirements:
  • Experience in highly scalable systems, including messaging and microservices (rabbitmq is preferred)
  • Experience in SQL (some form of relational database, Postgres preferred)
  • Typescript experience, and ideal to have Javascript and Node
  • Experience working with third-party SDKs and Web Services
  • Preferred to have experience working with Kubernetes
  • Preferred to have some exposure to front end development
