Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide software solutions requiring strong skills in a variety of technical areas and a desire and history of supporting varied efforts. - Coordinate and participate in all tasks related to requirements gathering and stakeholder follow up, task analysis, database implementation, and software design, development, review, and testing. - Hands-on development and production support of company financial applications. - Have a significant impact on organization's business systems with a focus on polishing websites, confirming best security practices are implemented for sites, services, and data, and develop scheduled reporting capabilities and self-service interfaces for stakeholders to use in support of their data analysis. Skills & Requirements: - 5+ years SQL and SQL Server experience including strong working knowledge of database entity relationship modeling, object-oriented analysis, design patterns, unit testing, and database best practices. - 3+ years of experience and success developing and analyzing financial, ERP, or similar systems leveraging Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies. - 3+ years of experience with SSIS and SSRS. - Experience and willingness to work with a large legacy codebase. - .NET development experience is highly preferred, specifically web and data services development (C#.NET, .NET MVC, .NET Core). - Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access is preferred. - Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred. - Experience with software version control systems (Subversion and/or Git preferred). - Prior experience with accounting practices, including AR and GL, is highly preferred. - Commitment to quality in code and delivered solutions. - Interest and experience working in a collaborative development environment (Scrum, Agile, Kanban). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work directly with numerous stakeholders in a systems analyst capacity. - Self-motivated and a self-starter; proven ability to multi-task and manage work effectively with respect to business priorities. - BS Degree or higher in Computer Science is preferred.
