Job Description: Skills / Experience Good understanding of Android Multimedia stack with focus on Display / Gfx Pipeline Experience in application development on Linux Android Good Hardware and software debugging skills.
Hands on experience in testing Android drivers.
Experienced in test case design, verification support, inter-team coordination, and competitive analysis.
Customer support experience/debugging skills Good knowledge on Windows development environment and tools on ARM platform.
Basic knowledge on ARM processors, Embedded Operating Systems, and Windows multimedia frameworks.
Strong analytical and debugging skills, excellent oral and written (English) communication skills.
Expertise in scripting/automation using Pythong, Perl or Java or C/C language, or R&D experience is a plus.
Design, develop and implement automation/manual test cases for Android Display Subsystem a. Understand Android Display pipeline and modules such as surfaceflinger, Display interfaces like MIPI DSI, Displayport, define test scope, create Test Project Plan (TPP) and Test Cases (TCs) b. Experience with LCD, eDP, OLED and FSD Displays is a plus c. Ability to use different test equipment such as logic analyzer, oscilloscopes d. Develop/implement automation to maximum test efficiency e. Monitor execution progress and triage issues for all features f. Report and review status to development team g. Provide support to test execution of day to day test activities, deploy/enable test setup and knowledge to improve overall project productivity without sacrificing quality of deliverables.
Education : Minimum requirements: BS in EE/CS 2 years related working experiences in Multimedia and Display technologies
