Our Assistant Managers must have the following qualifications:
One to two years’ full service, high volume, casual dining restaurant kitchen supervisory experience
Strong coach - gives effective feedback, grows the team every day
Organized
Ready to master every position in the restaurant before trying to teach someone else
Cares about people - builds relationships with guests
Humble - eager to learn from a dynamic, growing restaurant group
Experience with managing a large team
Familiar with POS systems
Comfortable in the kitchen, skilled at ordering & inventory
Food Handler's Card and/or Serve Safe Certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to motivate and direct team members and work effectively in management team
Keen attention to detail
Proven problem-solving
Ability to stand and walk around a restaurant to supervise operations for 8-10 hours
Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and raise arms above head on occasion
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to your teams
Involvement/understanding of managing inventory, cost of goods and overall control of financials
Our Restaurant Managers are responsible for:
Daily operations and maintenance of the individual location
Training and Development of our Team Members
Ensuring the Highest quality food
Best in class service!
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality
Organize and supervise shifts
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
