Now hiring a Part-time Cook! Our senior living community, La Vida Real located in the Rancho
San Diego neighborhood of El Cajon, CA
is a great setting if you enjoy working with seniors.Â
You will prepare meals for residents according to the Community's specifications. Crisp linen tablecloths, fine china and top-quality fresh ingredients; this is made-to-order dining at its finest. Seasonal and regional menus are ever-evolving, offering signature dishes and daily specials. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.
Essential Duties:
Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
Assist in the production of all menu items.
Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.
Qualifications:
One year of related experience or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
