WHO WE ARE
We are a growing, family owned establishment in the Poway area. We offer a selection of quinoa salads, bean salads, nutrition bars, and soups.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're really looking for someone who can work quickly and isn't afraid of responsibility - they will be held to a high standard. They will be expected to follow direction, work hard, and be appreciated. Everyone is expected to take care of customers so customer service abilities are a must. We need a prep cook/cook who can follow recipes easily, and who can improvise when necessary - with little hand holding. Ability to take direction from management with eagerness. We need someone who can prep and process lots of vegetables and herbs, with a focus on efficiency and clean working stations. You can expect an average of $3 - $5 in tips per hour in addition to wage.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Maintains a Food Handlers certificate.
At least high school diploma.
Speaks and reads English fluently.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
Comfortable with organizing cooking inventory supplies weekly.
Able to work a flexible schedule (see below description).
Demonstrates ability to understand customer is #1 both internally and externally.
Must possess enthusiasm and a willingness to promote brand recognition.

WORK SCHEDULE
Must be able to work 30-35 hours per week. A schedule will be created, but we would need you to be available early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Being that we are first and foremost a green smoothie shop, if you fit with our current crew you will be helping in day to day operations blending, helping customers (including using the POS), dishes, etc.
Wage dependent on your experience.
