We are a fast casual seafood restaurant with locations in Orange County and San Diego currently looking to add a FOH manager to our team! Currently at 6 locations, with plans to expand to many more in the near future!

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Job Type: Full-time (50h/week)

Compensation: $16.00 to $18.50 /hour

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, team member retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

The FOH manager is responsible for leading and driving the daily operations of the FOH, overseeing the development of FOH team members, and completing administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone who has two years of restaurant management experience and enjoys building relationships and deepening community ties.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

Successfully introduces new products and procedures to the Kitchen Managers, Supervisors and Team Members.

Ensure that all guests feel welcomed and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.

Hire, train, motivate and discipline Team Members to ensure restaurant is staffed to maintain company essence and quality standards.

Empower Kitchen Managers, Supervisors and Team Members in order to build self-sufficiency within the restaurant.

Promptly resolve guest service issues as they arise in the professional manner.

Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to

the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.

Maintain open communication with vendors.

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and

sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive,

productive working environment.

Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation

procedures in accordance with company's policies and procedures.

Make employment and termination decisions, with District Manager's approval.

Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering food and supplies, and

developing the restaurant's team.

Coach, teach, and motivate team to maintain high quality food and guest service.

Ensure that all employees are following the meal and rest period policy.

Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional

development.

Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized

and timely manner.

Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.

Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition, and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures.

Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals/evaluations are followed and completed on a timely basis.

Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.

Develop, plan and carry out restaurant marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.
