Brian Malarkey's Herb &a Sea, located in the heart of downtown Encinitas, right off the 101 is looking for new team members! Inside dinning and our new Moonlight Patio is booming! We are hiring to go 6 Nights and BRUNCH!
HIRING ALL POSITIONS
BOH: Line and Prep Cook, Dishwasher
Bartender:
3 years experience with high-volume, craft cocktail knowledge and able to multi-task. Fine dining is a plus.
Host:
Must be personable, charismatic, and warm, even while under extreme pressure. Experience with OpenTable is preferred. Must be available to work weekends.
Servers: 2 years or more fine dining experience. Extensive food, wine, and spirits knowledge preferred. High volume experience preferred.
Dishwasher: Janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, washing dishes and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, sorting linens, restocking items, and performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for guests.
Prep Cook: Prioritize and follow prep list that changes daily, communicate with chef on timelines of projects and product needs. Prepare foods by washing/chopping vegetables, cutting meats ect. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, all while complying with safety and sanitization guidelines. Availability, 7am-3:30pm, Sunday availability preferred.
Line Cooks- at least 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, open availability preferred (Sun Brunch included)
Generally PM shifts, 3:00-12:00am
