Seeking 2 separate positions. 1 person for line cook and 1 person for Dishwasher
Job Title: Line Cook /Grill Cook
Dept: Restaurant
Reports to: Executive Chef
Job Class: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Responsible for prepping the station and executing all menu items at time of service, while keeping a clean and organized station.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keeping knives clean and sanitized
Making sure the prep sheet is accurate
Making sure all the food is fresh on a daily basis
Prepping all items starting with the cook station.
Executing the menu items during time off service.
Helping run food to dining room when needed
Cleaning station top to bottom before going home (changing over all containers, etc)
Managing dishwasher and prep cooks
Helping with trash and dishes when needed
Performing all opening and closing duties on a daily basis
Training all new cooks
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3-5 years in the restaurant industry
Used a sauté pan
Cooking on a flat top/grill
Skills and Attitudes:
Must be a team player
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have 1 year cooking experience
Education:
12th grade or G.E.D
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Food Handlers Card (to be obtained within 30 days of employment)
Physical Requirements:
Work in a hot environment
Be able to lift 50lbs. and put it on your shoulder
Standing on you feet for an 8 hour shift
Job Title: Dishwasher
Dept: Restaurant
Reports to: Manager/ Cooks
Job Class: Non-exempt
Position Summary:
To keep the inside and outside clean at all times, while keeping up with dishes and the cleanliness of the dish room.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be a team player.
Sweeping the grounds when there is food or trash on it.
Changing any trash barrels that are full, including all at the end of the night.
Check outside on an hourly basis to make sure it is clean.
Making sure all stainless steal is wiped down and has a nice shine to it.
Making sure the dish area is clean and you are keeping up on cleaning and stocking plates.
Prepping items for the menu as assigned by manager.
Check all soap dispensers on a regular basis to insure they are full with soap.
Maintain filter and water in dish machine.
Help buss tables
Keeping dining room clean and organized
Qualifications:
1 year restaurant experience
Some prep background
Skills and Attitudes:
Must be a team player
Must have excellent customer service skills
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Food handlers Card (to be obtained within 30 days of employment)
