We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team at our Sushi / Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant’s brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of Korean and Japanese dishes, ensuring each plate is executed with precision and presented beautifully.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menu offerings.
Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
Ensure the kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Communicate effectively in English with the culinary team and restaurant staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook in a Korean and/or Japanese restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of traditional Japanese and Korean cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Starting pay will be based on experience. $18/hour and up.
