The Virtual Health (VH) Functional Analyst II shall provide program management, administrative and management support, analysis, data management, and project management to sustain the operational virtual health environment for Navy Medicine. The Functional Analyst II shall assist customers in process optimization, workflow design, documentation, multi-project knowledge management, project planning and status tracking, and meeting support. Such support will include moderate metrics and data analysis, and product distribution.
The Functional Analyst II will participate in the refinement, customization, and instruction of multiple VH initiatives and modalities. They will facilitate process and workflow design with provided Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage VH encounters within Department of Defense (DoD), Navy Medicine, and The Joint Commission guidelines. Training may be in-person, hybrid, or virtual.
The Functional Analyst II will advise on the development, posting, maintenance and content for VH on web/Share Point/milSuite and other DoD-associated sites, when appropriate. This includes assistance with identifying content for providers/leadership, content management, and referencing any social media-type tools associated with the platform.
The Functional Analyst II will primarily work supporting BUMED headquarters. The Functional Analyst II works in a matrix organizational structure with large amounts of team-based projects. The Functional Analyst II is expected to travel periodically CONUS and OCONUS. Travelers are expected to travel in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) standards and with prior written approval by the Program Management Office before final schedules are completed.
