Upscale physician practice seeking a full-time medical assistant for primarily back office duties. The ideal candidate is motivated, friendly, and committed to providing personalized care. Our office is small and friendly, and we limit our patient volume to ensure high quality care. Experience desired, but we may be willing to train the right candidate.
Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):
Taking patients vital and medication histories
Preparing patients for examination
Collecting and preparing laboratory examinations
Performing immunizations and therapeutic injections
Assisting physician in biopsies/procedures
Transmitting prescription refills as directed
Taking electrocardiograms
Removing sutures and changing dressings
Administrative Duties (may include, but not limited to):
Using computer applications
Answering telephones
Greeting patients
Updating and e-filing patient medical records
Scheduling appointments
Arranging for laboratory services
