Seeking a General Maintenance Worker to support facility operations aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, and building systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and compressors.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, lighting, and general building systems.
Complete work orders for facility and grounds maintenance, including lawn care.
Document tasks and report issues in the maintenance system.
Coordinate with subcontractors for specialized repairs.
Comply with OSHA and Claxton safety standards; wear PPE at all times.
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance experience.
Some Knowledge of 240V electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and OSHA standards.
Valid driver’s license; must pass background check and drug screening.
OSHA 30 (General Industry) required within 30 days of hire.
