Previous handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred (especially in retail or commercial settings).
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Ability to safely use hand tools and small power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Must follow safety standards in using tools and work zones.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling tiles, fixing shelving, and assembling furniture.
Repair minor plumbing issues (e.g., unclogging drains, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures).
Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and outlet covers.
Inspect and maintain store equipment, fixtures, and signage.
Will be required to review, maintain and write work orders to completion.
