Front Desk Assistant (Seasonal)
Pacific Tax & Financial Group, Inc. in San Marcos is seeking friendly, organized Front Desk Assistants to support our team during the busy tax season. This role is the first point of contact for our clients and plays an important part in keeping daily office operations running smoothly. Front Desk & Client Support:
- Greet clients in person and create a welcoming office environment
- Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system
- Assist clients with general questions and appointment check-ins
Office & Administrative Support:
- Process client payments accurately
- Provide completed tax returns and documents to clients
- Prepare client files and documents prior to scheduled appointments
- Manage the office calendar and schedule appointments
- Send appointment reminders by phone and email
- Handle outgoing and incoming mail and shipping
Organization & Accuracy:
- Maintain organized client records and files
- Work closely with the tax team to ensure smooth client flow
- Help with other general office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Reliable and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable answering phones and working with computers
- Previous experience in a front desk, office, medical, or customer service role preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Details:
$21.00 per hour
Morning shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
February 16, 2026 - April 15, 2026
Evening shift:
Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
February 2, 2026 - April 15, 2026
Saturday shift:
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
January 31, 2026 - April 11, 2026
