Unified Networks is a leading Managed Services Provider that provides comprehensive Information Technology outsourcing and consulting services to small, medium and large sized organizations throughout San Diego County. We have immediate openings for experienced Help Desk Technicians to provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support.
Job Summary:
This is a fast-paced position with growth potential. Support will be provided via desk-side, phone, and/or remote connectivity. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues. In this role, you will assist in the administration and support of client PCs, printers, servers, phones, and related equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-site end-user technical support
Monitor, prioritize and respond to requests received through the ticketing system
Execute timely and effective repairs/troubleshooting
Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
Assist with hardware and software installations, upgrades and system enhancements
Preferred Experience:
Client Desktop Windows 7/8/10, OS X
Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory
Email Administration Microsoft Exchange, Office365
Network connectivity troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, and Anti-Malware/spyware solutions
Knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery systems
Phone System administration
Mobile iOS and Android device assistance
Preferred Skills:
Outstanding Customer Service skills
Adeptness at utilizing resources and finding solutions
Excellent time management, and multitasking skills
Reliable, self-starter with excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and quality of work
Adaptability and willingness to learn
