Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Master Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is essential in diagnosing and servicing a broad range of vehicle repair issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair various automotive systems including, but not limited to, brakes, hydraulic systems, fuel ignition, electrical systems, suspension, HVAC, and computer systems.
- Communicate diagnoses to customers in a clear, understandable manner.
- Accurately record inspection findings to facilitate precise cost estimations.
- Collaborate with and assist other technicians with technical tasks.
- Engage in continuous learning of new techniques, tools, and equipment through provided training.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting.
- A clean, valid California driver’s license.
- Vocational or technical school training is preferred.
- ASE Certification is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent judgment and discretion, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A team player with a positive attitude, capable of working in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to foster a professional atmosphere for both employees and customers.
