Job Title: Web Development Quality Analyst

Position: W2 Contract - San Diego

About the opportunity: We are partnering with a HealthCare organization in San Diego to identify a Web Development Quality Analyst primarily responsible for planning, creating, and executing software test activities. Areas of focus may be Manual, Usability, Automated, or Performance and Integration testing.

Responsibilities:

20 % Test Assessment and Planning

• Attends Sprint Planning Meetings
• Collaborates with Product Owners, Business Systems Analyst, Development Team members ensuring requirements are consistent, complete, traceable, and testable
• Develops test strategy and plan which sufficiently test Web Development's software products and instills stakeholder confidence in the product's quality

30 % Test Design & Development

• Uses product's test data to design and develop test procedures and cases
• Designs and develops manual and automated testing procedures based on stakeholder requirements i.e., Functional Requirements
• Designs detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)

30 % Test Plan Execution

• Attends daily Scrum and communicate accomplishments, planned task, and roadblocks
• Conducts testing as per the established organizational standards and testing procedures

20 % Continuous Inspection, Adaption & Improvements

• Continually demonstrates Web Development Department Core Values (i.e. Integrity, Respect, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork, Transparency)
• Attends and/or leading test procedure walk-throughs

Experience:

• Create and document automated and manual test plans and procedures, execute tests, analyze results, and report on test problems and anomalies (document bugs)
• Perform software testing in all phases of the software development life cycle
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile development and testing methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and software testing platforms or environments.
