JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prime responsibilities will be system integration and test of LTE MAC/RLC, Signaling and IP layers as well as technology demonstrations. Candidates must have great interest in new technologies and willing to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be able to work well with others in a technical environment. Some travel for tradeshows, IoT (Interoperability Testing) and customer support may be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION Candidates must have between 1-4 years of combined experience with the following: Strong knowledge of LTE/OFDMA including MAC/RLC/Upper layers of LTE is required. Knowledge of LTE MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, S1 and X2 protocols is required. Knowledge of IP, UDP, TCP, HTTP protocols and analysis tools such as Wireshark is required. Experience with test equipment such as channel emulator, spectrum analyzers and signal generators is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION Strong fundamentals in Communications Theory is preferred. Programming skills in Python is preferred. Programming skills in MATLAB is preferred. Background in Satellite communication is plus Knowledge of Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT JTAG debugger is a plus.
Comments for Suppliers:. Position requires hands on experience with debugging LTE protocols in wireless industry. Not looking for RF Testers. Position is considered primarily onsite critical from start date.
