Description
Job Responsibilities:
Works on assignments that are basic to routine in nature where the ability to recognize deviations from accepted or usual practices is required.
Works on basic to routine assignments following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Works in conjunction with other Inspection Technicians under the guidance of a Group/Team Leader.
Works on Inspection of products; assists in the inspection of Clinical Trial Material, and components.
Sets up and operates inspection equipment including leak detection, over seal laser, and semi-automatic inspection machine.
Prepares cleaning solutions and cleans inspection areas, including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
Complies with all safety-related procedures and practices personally and in area.
Assembles components for shipping of products.
Performs basic ERP/MES transactions.
Receives well-defined instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
Reports variance or deviation from standard procedures to department management.
Takes variant action only with approval of department management.

Physical Requirements for the role:
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to work holidays
Must be able to operate and qualify on inspection equipment
Must be able to see and distinguish all colors and shades
Must be able to stand for a continuous 4 hours
Occasionally lift 50 lbs
Routinely lift 25 lbs

Knowledge and Skills:
2+ years of relevant experience, HS Diploma, college degree preferred.
Prior experience in a cGMP related industry is desirable.
Demonstrates familiarity with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records
Demonstrates sufficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate basic information to peers and team lead.
Demonstrates working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and administrative policies.
Demonstrates ability to follow direction and work with only moderate supervision.
