Do you get excited when you find the perfect word, phrase, or graphic to communicate an initiative?The Director, Executive Communications will partner closely with the EVP & GM, Platform, Trailhead, & AppExchange to deliver a strategic communications narrative that helps drive consistent messaging across both internal and external channels. As part of the COO team, you will gather information like a journalist and then deliver messaging in multiple formats (email, social media, and blogs). You are a self-starter and avid learner who’s both creative and analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. And, you’re a brilliant communicator with a solution-oriented mindset who can write in a range of styles, from serious to light-hearted.We are looking for a team player who can write compelling, concise, and user-friendly communications that prepare and enable employees for change and evangelize our mission in market, exciting both customers and employees about our vision. Develop an executive communications plan to drive strategic initiatives and activate a global audience across multiple digital channels, crafting narratives that leverage storytelling and are aligned with our company values, culture, and style

Create and execute an internal communications strategy to ensure employees are aligned on what's most important, and feel supported, connected, and in-the-know

Partner with PR, AR, and COO teams to prioritize engagements such as speaking and interview requests and brief GM/CEO on speaking engagements. Participate in briefing meetings and review briefing documents in support of strategic customer meetings and events.

Partner with product marketing and the Strategic Innovation Center (SIC) team to craft customer facing presentations and communications.

Partner with communications leads and Employee Success to understand key programs and/or change management initiatives, and create and execute compelling communications that effectively deliver the message.

Drive/manage culture initiatives that connect, engage, and inspire the organization and employees including connecting geographically dispersed teams, and promoting a culture of fun and well-being.

Lead content creation for the monthly All Hands and quarterly V2MOM update process to support business and project goals.

Track results and apply key learnings to improve future communications, content, and engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant experience in executive communications, social and content marketing, or relevant field with preferably 5+ years at a technology company

Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to generate and execute "breakout" ideas

Proven track record developing and executing compelling, creative internal comms plans

Ability to provide input on messaging and positioning, and influence stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are impactful and aligned with our desired tone.

Knowledge of content marketing, social media, and global content delivery trends

Proven ability to multi-task and work with multiple deadlines

Demonstrated success collaborating across regions and departments, mobilizing content contributors and cross-functional teams around long-term projects and efforts

Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidance

Active listener with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and open to feedback

Experience with email platforms, analytics, camtasia, and/or the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms are a plus.

Bachelor's degree or higher

Self-motivated, independent, and committed to getting things done

Experience with executive communications preferred

Experience successfully driving projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, often ambiguous, and ever-changing environment

Proactive and results-oriented

Video experience a plus
