We are looking for bright, kind, and goal-oriented individuals who succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in building and improving processes to scale the business to the next level.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the GLOBAL PAYROLL DIRECTOR, you will lead and manage all aspects of payroll for over 8,000 employees across the globe. You will support global expansion and provide insight for 3rd party vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries. You will have the chance to serve as a key contributor to a high growth environment and strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical payroll processes. The successful candidate will be someone who is looking to build and manage a world-class payroll team, create payroll process and team in a rapidly growing company. This position will report to the Vice President, Controller and work closely with our People & Culture team as well as the Accounting team.YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL

Oversee the payroll processing for multi-state domestic and international employees (salary and hourly employees).

Responsible for leading, training, and mentoring payroll team.

Partner with the People & Culture team to develop payroll best practices, guidelines and procedures as well as integrate with HR systems.

Understand payroll strategies and deliver recommendations for improving payroll process. Champions payroll-related projects. Leads and supports all projects and initiatives directed by management.

Work with Accounting Team to ensure all Payroll Accounting is completed accurately and timely.

Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Support SOX key controls and quarterly reviews.

Develop, implement and maintain key policies and procedures for global payroll. Serve as the global process owner for Payroll Services and provide leadership across the company in optimizing our processes and systems. Communicate effectively with all employee levels in the organization.

Partner with the P&C Business Partners and Warehouse Managers in enhancing the Company’s existing payroll procedures and internal controls and seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with various organizations within the Company to support the payroll process and to drive efficiencies and accuracy.

A Desire to build and manage a world class global payroll function.

8 to 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Experience in processing payroll for 5,000+ employees.

International payroll experience.

Working knowledge of ADP Vantage, Oracle and Workday HRMS.

Fluency in MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships in a team environment.

Experience in system implementation and/or migration.

Strong leadership skills to support the needs of the business and the payroll team.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and are able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and to deal tactfully and courteously when explaining the functions and policies in the Payroll Department.

Integrity and maintain the confidential nature of the information by protecting the privacy of our employees and their records.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and are detailed oriented.

Knowledge in labor and payroll tax laws and regulations.

Payroll accounting experience.

Knowledge and experience with stock options and ESPP.

Experience with ISO’s, RSU’s, and NQSO’s.
