Job Description:

Position Overview:

Responsible for oversight and/or implementation of new and/or existing programs. May be enterprise specific or cross enterprise. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and to Sr. Management.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Leading 3-4 dev's for the banks Asset Management.com
    • Move product launches
    • New ETF's and categories of product need content built out
    • New Data integrations with research data, work with data
    • Add layers of security (user management) more access to additional content based on user.
    • Building out functionalities of cite
    • API integration
    • Working with dev's
    • Running Scrums ceremonies and daily stand ups - No SM on team currently
    • Product owner (own's financial product) decides features of product - not him
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Split large stories into smaller stories
  • Groom the backlog
  • Conduct Release planning
  • Conduct Sprint planning
  • Navigate the Sprint review activities Education

Top Requirements:
  • Must have demonstrated product management experience with exceptional leadership skills.
  • Experience with MS Project, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as product manager working with Agile methodologies
  • A minimum of 2 years' direct experience with CMS implementations and practices
  • Content, campaign & digital marketing strategy
  • Technical architecture & leadership

Nice to Have:
  • Drupal Experience
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS and PHP Must Have
  • Ability to create strong engagement with partner organizations in development of program roadmaps, execution plans and tracking risks and issues that align to business strategy.
  • Demonstrated CMS implementation and management experience (ideally with Drupal).
  • Act decisively with ability to impact and influence others
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to dive into details to drive issue resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to align marketing activities and how they should be executed within the CMS.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with architects and developers to define requirements and determine the best approach to implement technical solutions
  • Servant Leadership - Able to garner respect from your Scrum team(s), lead and demonstrate value-add principles, and willing and able to get your hands dirty to get the job done.
  • Attitude of transparency - Desire and ability to bring disclosure and transparency to the Scrum team and grow trust between the business and development.
  • Conflict resolution: Able to facilitate discussion of issues and different approaches and alternatives, and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience working with UI/UEx professionals and front-end developers
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation for the Agile values and principles.
  • 5 years of experience as a Product Owner on a Scrum team.
  • Have led teams as an Agile Product Owner in a large, complex enterprise environment where successful projects potentially involve more than 1 Scrum team.
  • Prior experience using Jira/Confluence and other Atlassian suite of products
  • Bachelor's degree or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience in technical and digital marketing disciplines.
