Location: Bay Area, CA

Location is not a constrain but client is based in Bay Area. East coast also acceptable as it requires heavy involvement with offshore team. Look forward to getting profiles.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience;
  • at least 3 years of experience in technical architect roles, preferably in databases, BigData, data engineering, or data integration
  • at least 2 years of experience in delivering data connectors / integration software
  • experience in working on a significant data connectivity roadmap for an application software or a data platform
  • experience in engineering of cloud / SaaS based software
  • experience in design / development of data middleware components, handling data exchange, transformation, change detection, etc
  • experience in leveraging open source software, especially related to data middleware, integration & connectivity
• Must-have skills and engineering experiences
  • Design and development of data connectivity and integration frameworks
  • Design and development of data discovery, extraction, ingestion, and synchronization connectors to a wide range of enterprise software. Providing some categories and examples below.
    • RDBMS, HDFS, DWH, data lakes,
    • Business apps like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, JIRA
    • Content mgmt. / Portals like SharePoint, Lotus Notes, Documentum
  • Design and develop for high performance, availability, multi-tenancy, enterprise security, etc
  • Design and develop Restful API design patterns, data filters
  • Design and development for cloud based containerized software packaging, releases, updates
  • Ability to comprehend software requirements and translate them to software design patterns
  • Good understanding of cloud / SaaS based deployments
• Other skills
  • Fluency in e-mail & verbal communication, collaborating equally well with the engineering resources as well as customer stakeholders
  • Ability to lead & collaborate with cross-functional teams such as UI, UX, security, cloud, etc to deliver the required functional and NFR requirements
