Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Engineer
5-10 3+ years of design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an overall sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.) in Cloud 3+ years of experience in designing & building cloud native applications and data pipelines in Data & Analytics with IaaS and PaaS - AWS EnglishAWS, Data Pipeline, Airflow, Step Function, Glue, Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Cloudformation, Code Build and Code Pipeline,DynamoDB Good understanding and implementation experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Modelling etc. Experience with DevOps, Continuous Delivery 3+ years with the following programming/scripting languages: AWS data engineering, PySpark, Glue, Crawler, Python, Java Data lake implementation experience and performance tuning of Glue jobs Experience in designing migration strategy for on-prem applications to cloud. Risk and mitigation planning. Optimizing cost. RDBMS and No-SQL database experience Experience with Bigdata, Analytics or IoT services Knowledge of Agile Methodologies Knowledge on orchestrating workloads on AWS with Airflow Knowledge on legacy ETL migration to cloud picking the right technologies big data, data warehousing, no sql, distributed caching Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences Able to set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help customers build profitable cloud businesses Strong communication and collaboration abilities in addition to technical depth Informatica, Scala, Java, Spark, Cloudera Build AWS pipeline Provision AWS services. Design and implement large scale hybrid cloud platform & applications Design a highly scalable and redundant virtual infrastructure to support the requirements Develop and manage capacity and growth projection forecasts of the environment within budgets Provide innovative suggestions for complex implementation solutions Deliver presentations and tech-talks to both internal and external customers Actively contributes to strategic planning for at both project & market level Write technical responses to RFP’s & RFI’s Run technology based training for project, accounts teams
