A public organization in Silicon Valley provides software solutions in the financial industry. This group is building out a highly distributed banking platform that will ingest and contextualize financial data.

They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build ETL pipelines. The team is migrating into Google Cloud because of its powerful data tools. You will also be building out an analytics platform with tools like Google Spanner, BigQuery, and Spark.
Required Skills & Experience

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years experience in a Data Engineering role (ideally ETL/BI focus)
• Development experience (Python, Scala, or Java)
• Database experience (NoSQL, SQL)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Big Query or Dataflow
• Knowledge of Airflow
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Interest in fintech

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• 70% ETL pipelining
• 30% Design/Architecture
