The San Francisco, Bay Area's most unique company is looking to hire a Data Scientist to join their team of engineers. The role is full time and currently offering remote options as well.

The company deals with non-regular, and unique types of datasets while tackling the problems they incur on the day-to-day basis. Their findings help aid major, and societal altering decisions in the farmtech industry for the betterment of the consumer, but also the company and provider.

Required Skills & Experience

• MS or greater in statistics or related discipline, OR MS or greater in agronomy or related discipline with strong data analysis skills
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling concepts
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms
• Excellent programming skills (R or Python preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud computing and version control
• Experience with geospatial data science tools
• Knowledge of remote sensing and environmental datasets, including satellite imagery, topography, and weather datasets
• Preferred: understanding of agricultural systems (soil chemistry, plant physiology, entomology, etc.)
