RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for our enterprise networking and cloud solutions client in San Jose, California (CA).
Summary:
The Embedded Software Engineer will be part of a fast-paced team responsible for delivering quality code for large complex systems requirements. Open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork, and customer success are the foundations of the team with "pay for performance" culture. The candidate will write, modify, and debug embedded software for chassis management control board that config/monitors PSU/FANs/Blades. The Embedded Software Engineer will also communicate with HW/QA to gather requirements, identify, and resolve issues quickly.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Linux
Experience with Bash script
TCP socket programming
Debugging with GDB
Desired Skills/Qualifications/System Experience requirements:
Some knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems
Good understanding of advanced software engineering processes and methodologies
Understanding of Linux OS behaviors an advantage
Understanding of Networking an advantage
Strong critical thinking/communication skills
