Who You Will Work WithJoin our world-class Customer Solutions Marketing (CSM) organization at Cisco. Cisco’s Provider Connectivity business is constantly evolving and presenting significant opportunities for the company as Service Providers and webscalers embrace new architectures for efficient and sustainable growth. As Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with business units, field sales, regional teams, executives, and partners to help establish Cisco as a leader in one of the most important segments—Service Provider networking. What You Will DoAs an experienced product marketer, you will help establish customer interest, preference and advocacy in Cisco’s Provider Connectivity products and solutions.Responsibilities:
Develop compelling positioning and messaging for Cisco’s Provider Connectivity products and solutions, targeting key buyer personas and their difficulties; be the customer advocate for your solution.
Engage with product management to understand their roadmaps and business priorities and formulate effective marketing plans
Support NPIs and GTM readiness, by developing and translating customer value propositions into impactful content for both internal sales and external consumption
Establish relationships and work with sales teams to better understand their needs in their customer engagements.
Partner with Solutions Marketing and Integrated Marketing teams to expand industry and customer awareness of Cisco’s Provider Connectivity products and solutions, helping to increase customer adoption
Become the SME and advisor for your domain, supporting the Integrated Marketing team on their development of local and regional campaigns and other programs
Who You Are You are a top-tier professional who understands the concept, importance and role of message maps for creating impactful product/solution value propositions aligned with customers' needs and Cisco's vision towards helping fulfill those needs.
You can translate sophisticated technologies and concepts into easily consumable, ready-to-read materials
You have great project management skills and are adept at handling multiple tasks and associated deadlines simultaneously and effectively
You have the ability to persuade and influence key partners including product management, technical marketing, engineering CTOs and effectively collaborate with cross-functional team members
Qualifications:
5+ year proven experience in product marketing
Experience in Service Provider and/or Enterprise Networking is a requirement.
Experience in Routing platforms and/or network automation.
Should be willing to travel up to 15% both locally and overseas for supporting industry events and conferences.
