Our client is a Bay Area company building revolutionary technology in the networking industry. Their technology combines a suite of unique algorithm innovations with expert implementation to create the industry's first truly viable 5G wireless technology. Looking for a senior python or GO engineer that can help them bring their technology to an even greater scale. Their tightly-knit engineering core is complemented by operations and outbound teams seasoned in successful commercialization and scaling of telecommunication innovation.
Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain reporting software
  • Improve performance of current software framework
  • Design and maintain software development and build environment
  • Work with software/firmware engineers, system engineers, RF engineers to design and automate test framework
  • Design and administer AWS cloud applications
Required Skills and Experience:
  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering
  • Strong programming skills and 5+ years of experience in Python and/or Go required
  • Scripting in python, make, or bash required
  • Object oriented programming and design skills required
  • Working knowledge of networking hardware and iperf traffic is highly valued
  • System programming languages(Go, C, C) a plus
  • Understanding of microservices and API Development
  • Strong understanding of Linux system administration
  • Ability to work with diverse hardware, third party software and in house software to create solutions: you should be a hacker
  • Passionate and excited about working in a fast moving startup with lots of exciting projects and opportunities for growth


The Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Up to $165K/year, DOE
