Summary: Join this global automotive company as the Administrative Manager, Human Resources in San Luis Obispo, providing critical support for Human Resources and experiencing the company’s research and development activities. As a Human Resource professional, you will engage with a multi-talented and diverse team to manager key activities to ensure the success of business goals. You will work closely with team members to advance the early stages of our growth in operations. Responsibilities:
Ability to source, hire, and onboard a diverse workforce, and provide initial training/support, in addition to ongoing guidance in areas of payroll, benefits, training, and policies.
Key interface between administration and technical side to ensure staffing resources are achieved and maintained.
Provide support in collaboration with all business units of company in area of associate relations, including investigations, and recommendations of action.
Responsible for developing local policies or procedures needed for compliant and safe operations.
Responsible for proposing and launching approved activities which match the unique needs of the program.
Liaison for maintaining of key business relationship with other Honda companies both in the United States and globally.
Strong understanding of processes and procedures to manage companies “overseas assignment program”, which provides support to associates from Japan assigned to this project for multiple years who will live in the local area.
Strong understanding of basic Human Resources skills needed to support the establishment of local hired associates.

Required Skillset:
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
Fluent ability to communicate in English and Japanese languages
Strong understand and experience in all areas of expatriate program administration
Understanding of human resources as related to all functional areas including hiring, associate relations, compliance, risk, etc.
Ability to work with a diverse team and at times perform support tasks which require creative thinking
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Must be a team player who values relationships and people, with ability to work with all levels within the organization
Driven and proactive, with an ability to adapt to dynamic circumstances, and thrive even with ambiguity
