Based in Northern California's Bay Area, we have been developing new solutions that give medical aesthetic professionals the ability to stay ahead of the curve of the field with our process that has created truly unique medical devices! For over 20 years since our inception by laser and optical engineers we have committed ourselves to delivering the highest level or safety, competence, and performance. Some of the treatments our devices perform are body sculpting, hair removal, pigmented lesions, skin revitalization, tattoo removal, vascular lesions, and women's health! We are looking for a seasoned mechanical engineer to contribute in the development of existing and new medical technologies and applications. You'll be driving design verification by testing performance, use FEA simulation tools to model mechanical assemblies and guide design development.

Job Details
Must Haves: 5+ years of related commercial experience for capital equipment, laser, or complex electromechanical devices 5+ years of CAD design experience, SolidWorks preferred Experience in dynamic mechanical design required (actuation assemblies, laser beam scanning systems, translation and rotation stages a plus) Experience in system-level design, integration with strong GD&T principles Experience in design of optomechanical assemblies preferred FEA tools strongly preferred Matlab
