The team: The Business Transformation team is central to the digital transformation of our client's customer-facing and job-placement processes. It advocates for the best possible customer experience, bringing together mobile apps, web products, and AI-based matching systems that leverage our massive proprietary data-sets.

The role: As a Senior Manager, Product Management, you will be responsible for major initiatives that re-engineer how millions of job-seekers, clients, and staffing professionals engage with each other to get jobs filled. You will have direct responsibility for new products and digital experiences as well as a significant strategic impact on how our client utilizes the latest technology. You will be a player-coach, mentoring, and building a product team while also using empathy, data, research, and analysis to lead multi-functional teams to deliver a great product. Your work will help define how labor marketplaces operate in the 21st century, using a hybrid of technology and personalized service, and will impact the lives of millions.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Prioritization:

-Collaborate closely with product marketing and user research to identify key customer needs and requirements. Build a clear understanding of the business context and goals.

-For your Product Areas, establish a cohesive product vision across teams. Bring clarity to the definition of the problem we want to solve and the outcome we will achieve.

-Develop roadmaps for your product areas, based on trade-offs between customer requirements, business needs, competition, and engineering.

-Evangelize, collaborate, and build a shared consensus across other product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

-Develop goals and key metrics to measure success for your product areas, aligning with overall company goals.

Product Execution:

-Spearhead key initiatives and drive progress.

-Be a player-coach, working hands-on and as needed to support your team.

-Working with a cross-functional squad, lead the collective outcomes of ideation, research, design, development, and launch of user-centric features.

-Write product problem statements, specifications, and define key success metrics.

-Iterate on prototypes with design, research, engineering, and marketing squad members.

-Deliver crisp and timely product requirements for engineering squad members.

-Partner with program managers to remove cross-team obstacles from the path to shipping.

-Analyze metrics on product performance and process execution, and drive to succeed.

Team Development:

-Build and lead a team of product managers that is productive and efficient and embodies a customer-centric culture.

-Mentor your team with actionable feedback and 1:1s and help advance their career goals.

-Implement and continuously improve product management practices that create a great product.

Requirements

-8+ years of Product Management experience with web/mobile products.

-Experience managing a team(s) of Product Managers.

-Demonstrated experience building products that users love.

-Demonstrated leadership experience, evangelizing, and building alignment for new products.

-Proven cross-functional relationship-building and executive presentation skills.

-Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve stretch goals.

-Experience with consumer internet products or marketplaces.

-BA/BS in engineering or other analytical degrees. Master's/MBA a plus.
