Role Summary:The Vice President of Digital Marketing Operations for GE Digital reports directly to the CMO and leads the team responsible for the digital revenue marketing engine. They are responsible for marketing-related measurement, planning, infrastructure (Martech and web site), data management, and analytics.Essential Responsibilities:This VP collaborates with vertical marketing leaders and the VP of Brand & Corporate Communications by:Developing and implementing the digital marketing strategy required to unify GE Digital’s digital footprint; Optimizing the user experience to create a seamless customer journey throughout the full customer life cycle; Increasing marketing effectiveness by translating data into actionable insights; Serving as the steward of the end to end marketing process from segment/persona implementation through engagement, retention and advocacy.Embedding technology understanding and data management/analysis into marketing DNAProvides dependable advice and consultation to the CMO and the vertical marketing leaders, leveraging marketing performance dataIn conjunction with the CMO, collaborates with vertical marketing leaders to achieve alignment with the corporate strategyOrchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with sales and product objectivesEnsures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketing’s contribution to the business; Managed against industry benchmarks on spend and funnel conversionCoordinates the budget strategy and manages the budget allocation and reconciliation process Gathers and disseminates internal and external marketing best practicesParticipates in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the CMO Delivers effective change management and communications for technology implementation, data policy and process re-engineering within marketingCampaign/ Revenue Operations and Standard WorkImplement standard work and best practices for Campaign Operations and ExecutionManage policies, protocols and guidelines for best-in-class revenue operations (For Example: Lead Management, Lead Scoring, Lead Disposition, etc.) Digital Strategy & Operations (technology & Website)Define and drive digital technology experiences and applications:Experience strategy and innovationExperience design and user experienceTrack, analyze and report results from digital engagement Define and own the Strategic roadmap for the web and digital technology experiences and bring to life with customer-centric digital technology experiencesDeveloping business requirements and manage plans for marketing technology investments and developments including optimizing current technologiesProvides oversight of digital operations and makes recommendations/solutions to operational issues (e.g. digital outages, ensuring digital site compliance, etc).Understand industry, market, and technology trends and appropriate tools to align with our current solutions and goals. Update management & stakeholders on key changes & themes in the broader industry surrounding marketing technology. Compile insights, analytics and research to drive ongoing customer experience improvements across platforms, devices and buyer journey; include quantitative metrics analysis from owned and licensed technology platforms and qualitative input (UX/UI Testing)Data & AnalyticsEnsures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaignsLeads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governanceDirect the systems and processes that help manage and measure marketing performance in a systematic, predictable fashion, with key performance metrics and resultsDevelop, maintain, and distribute marketing dashboards and campaign reports as well as general marketing intelligence, ad hoc queries, and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to all levels of the marketing organization to better optimize our resourcesQualifications/Requirements:Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree required10 or more years in digital marketing, commercial operations, revenue operations or related experienceUnderstanding of sales cycles and product lifecycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenueStrategic, objective-driven planning and reportingExperience with lead management process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service-level agreements, is desirableManagement of onsite and offsite teams collaborating on complex projectsPartnership and influence with multiple complex stakeholder groups (IT, Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales, Leadership)Management of budget and resource allocation to support success and efficiencyEligibility RequirementsLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
