Title: Business System Analyst Location: San Ramon, CA Duration: Long Term
Job Description: This position will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate, improve existing systems capabilities, and test solutions for our Equipment Finance and Leasing solutions. We're looking for top-notch, energetic talent to keep up with the industry's momentum and lead web development, programming, engineering and more. Main Areas of Responsibility
Lead and evolve systems and solutions in support of business needs
Analyze business requirements and design systems and solutions in support of business needs
Identify, propose, evaluate, estimate, and implement software solutions with a combination of vendor products and custom software
Participate in software solution architecture, technical designs to support business needs while thoroughly considering the system's impact
Drive software evaluations, solution architecture, technical designs and security designs to support growing business needs while thoroughly considering the system impact.
Lead projects from idea to implementation
Develop detailed technical specifications, system workflows, and user interface designs for complex front office and back office systems
Proactively lead vendors and engineers to deliver high quality products with minimal defects
Work with development and business teams in defect root cause analysis and resolution
Work with business and IT partners to help deliver defects free systems
Job Specifications Required Education
Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of industry experience.
Professional Required Experience
Experience in product development for banking applications (loan origination and servicing systems)
Experience analyzing high level business requirements and developing detailed functional specifications for systems development and customization
Experience developing technical specifications and user interface designs for customer-facing information portals utilizing digital experience platforms such as Liferay platform (preferred)
Experience in handling multiple projects in parallel and working with cross-functional teams
Experience working with management in defining scope, timelines, and development costs
Experience in leveraging understanding of the business process and related application systems to create current and future business process maps
Experience in liaising with the QA, downstream teams, vendors, and business users to review and finalize use cases and test scenarios
Ability to present system demos and IT strategy to business users and partners
Proven record of interpreting and fulfilling requirements by developing high performing, scalable and maintainable solutions with multiple technologies and vendors.
Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices including Agile, Rational Unified Process, deployment automation, code reviews, and test driven development.
Good technical knowledge in systems, application frameworks, database optimization, and experience being responsible for the success of software development projects.
Ability to 'think on your feet', present multiple solution options, and drive defect free products.

Custom web based applications development including information portals utilizing portal frameworks such as Liferay
High level architecture and design, and non-functional technical requirements
Build automation and continuous integration processes for release management
Configure, customize, and integrate third party vendor software

Data Manipulation
XML, XSLT and XPath
SQL / T-SQL
