Our client, a leader in the

Real Estate Industry, is looking to hire a

Ruby on Rails Developer to join their

remote team. This person will participate in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying of software in cloud environment for business applications

(Tech Stack: Python, Ruby on Rails, React)

This is a 6 month contract role with opportunity for extension or conversion

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance existing applications.
• Work comfortably within small teams in a corporate environment that requires regular communication with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.
• Independently define and prioritize individual goals and tasks as part of an agile development process.
• Report to management on the status of project efforts, identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.
• Keep current on advances in software development and integrate them where appropriate.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years' experience in software development, at least one year experience on
  Python, Ruby, or React.
• Experience of Software development in
  Cloud environment.
• Experience of MVC frameworks.
• Experience with
  HTML5, React, JavaScript, CSS and client-side frameworks.
• Experience with Database (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with consuming web services (XML, JSON) and building RESTful web services.
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation.
