An established, assisted living facility is searching for a Billing Clerk to join their team. If you are searching for a meaningful position in a positive and friendly environment, this could be a good fit.
Responsibilities:
-Processes retirement home and assisted living billing
-Maintains resident trust accounts
-Assists residents and responsible parties with billing questions and concerns
-Handles reconciliation of petty cash and requests reimbursement
-Processes billing and enrollment paperwork for personal property insurance
-Collects and monitors all payments and deposits
-Reviews MediCal and SSI resident balances and ensures that balances do not exceed the state limit
-Answers incoming calls in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate person
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-At least 1 year of recent billing/Accounts Receivable experience
-AA degree preferred
-Proficiency in MS Office
-Medical billing experience is a plus
