We are looking for a part-time Accountant! This position is responsible for the accounting and cash management of our dental health and products company. The Accountant will serve as the sole accounting professional for the company which has several divisions: dental practice, educational training, and product development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple entities, be very hands-on, and will handle paying the bills to produce the monthly financials and providing reports to the CFO as needed.

Duties:
Responsible for general ledger activities, preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet and accounts, as well as researching and resolving discrepancies
Make all entries necessary to balance inter-company transactions
Cash management, Record payroll, Enter credit card charges
Act as the point of contact for external auditors
Close monthly financials and report to upper management Consolidate financials and prepare year-end info for CPA for tax preparation
Miscellaneous local and state tax compliance, Complete other projects as requested, Perform other administrative duties as needed in the small business office
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
5yrs Experience in an Accounting position, including A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Payroll And Payroll Reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and MAS accounting systems
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, a strong sense of urgency, and reliable
Must have a positive attitude and want to work with a great company.
Employer Notes:
The accountant position will be approximately 24 hours per week
