Desirable Goleta employer is in immediate need of a Payroll Specialist to assist with the compilation of payroll data to process bi-weekly payroll and maintaining payroll records. Contribute to departmental changes for continuous improvement by way of managing processing goals and projects.
Responsibilities:
Data entry into Oracle and the ADP payroll system
Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals
Completes payroll cycle on a bi-weekly basis
Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
Skills/Experience:
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to use independent judgment in performing all duties of the position
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
Exceptional Customer Service
Ability to work under the pressure
Associates Degree required
1-3 years of office experience
