We are in need of a motivated and dependable Accounting Assistant to help with our small, but growing business. We are a Specialty/Home Infusion Pharmacy located in the heart of beautiful Carpinteria. Our team is professional and hard working, but in a relaxed working environment. The position will require approximately 32 hours/wk, but could be more as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities will include A/P and collections. Make entries using Quick Books and balancing the company checking and payroll accounts. Prepare weekly check runs, process invoices and purchase orders for payment. Review vendor statements. P/L and balance sheet reporting. Knowledge of General Ledger and journal entries. Ability to work in a team based environment and communicate and assist with other departments as needed. This position will report to the company CEO and CFO.
Qualified candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, be proficient in Excel, spreadsheets, Quick Books Online (a must have) and the ability to exercise extreme confidentiality.
