Tri County Office Furniture is the premier Central and South Coast contract business furnishings dealership. We focus on space planning, design, sales, project management and installation - providing our customers with a complete office furniture solution. We are headquartered in downtown Santa Barbara, with additional locations in Ventura and San Luis Obispo.

As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible and accountable for new business growth by identifying, connecting with, and establishing a meeting with potential new clients. We are looking for proven ability to generate appointments for our sales staff via phone calls/cold calls.

About the role:

In this role, you will oversee the development of new clients, and manage our referral channel. Sales staff will provide leads as well.

Help identify, contact, and qualify various business opportunities.

Track daily, weekly and monthly call activity and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations. Provide management with these reports weekly.

Qualify accounts to determine opportunity and provide sales staff with potential new client appointments.

Comfortable asking for business, not afraid of rejection.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts for our existing sales staff. Set up first appointments for sales staff.

Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, effectively multi-task, and proceed with objectives and goals.

Exhibit outstanding verbal skills via the phone and in person.
