Full Job Description:
Reed Interiors in Downtown Santa Barbara is looking for a Showroom Coordinator to replace our current team member during her maternity leave. We are looking to hire her replacement as soon as possible to allow for training and to work until the end of December 2021.
The Showroom Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks around customer service, marketing and sales.
About Reed Interiors: We are the Santa Barbara Home Design Studio offering a wide range of services from flooring to kitchen and bath design with a European touch. We pride ourselves on offering high quality products and services at very competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Lead Designers
- Answering phone calls and greeting clients
- Managing social media pages
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Create quotes, send POs and invoices
- Order samples
- Supervise work progress
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises
Skills:
- Understanding of layout and functions of spaces.
- Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail, or hospitality preferred
- People and relationship driven
- Strategic and mental agility
- Highly organized
- Collaborative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Applications
- Experience with a CRM is a plus
Pay:
$20/hour.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm
Experience: Hospitality or retail experience - 2 years

- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around showroom floor, stock room and office
- Licensed to drive preferred
- Ability to travel locally
