Expedition America (EA) is seeking energetic, outgoing and customer service oriented people for a variety of summer positions. EA is a tour and excursion company for international students studying abroad in the US. We are looking for Tour & Activity Leaders as well as salespersons to work side by side with our school partners to sell tours, activities and events as well as lead students on tours and participate in such events. If chosen, you will be paid to make friends, promote fun experiences, and lead tours for international students to fun and exciting destinations across the West Coast!
We are looking to begin hiring now for our Summer Team. Positions are flexible and could start from as Early as May and last through August with the potential to stay longer!
This is an entry level position and all will include training, but we also are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
You must be responsible, organized and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
You must be extremely outgoing, comfortable talking in front of people and able to approach students that you don't know to promote our tours/excursions and make new friends.
This is a fun and exciting job, different from the typical office atmosphere. You will interact with students of all backgrounds and lead tours/excursions to different destinations.
Knowledge of key cities and your local environment is a must. However, you will be extensively trained prior on both the sales side and leading tours prior to starting any position.
We welcome recent college graduates who were active in fraternities/sororities or social/club organizations.
Customer Service and Hospitality Experience a plus.
Experience as a promoter or event organizer is a plus
Speaking languages other than English is a plus
PAY: Starting at $13 - $15 per hour + Additional Pay for Tours
