Friendship Center is a fully licensed, non-profit adult day program that brings joy and purpose to the lives of ageing adults. We have centers at two sites, Montecito and Goleta.
We are currently searching for a talented Food Services Manager to oversee dining services, inventory and vendor relations for our centers in Montecito and Goleta, though the position will be based out of our Montecito site.
The job summary is as follows:
-preparing breakfasts and end of day snacks
-coordinating lunch catering with our vendors
-keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, including dish washing
-shopping for food and inventory items
-ordering meals from vendor for both sites
-directing volunteers and staff while performing kitchen duties
-acting as the liaison between Friendship Center and our cleaning services, as well as other maintenance workers
This position is 30-35hrs per week, as designated, and will report to the program manager.
