Full-Time Cafeteria Attendant Position Available Now
College Fresh, Inc. prepares and serves fresh, made from scratch meals on college campuses nationwide.
We are now looking forÂa full-time ***CAFE ATTENDANT*** to join the team at ourÂTropicana Dorms location in Isla Vista. If you are dependable, friendly, and have great customer service, please apply today!
***Essential Functions:
Clean all food service and food contact areas utilized in the dining room (salad bar, juice, serving lines, etc.)
Dishwashing, mopping,Âsweeping,Âgarbage removal, and other daily cleaning functions.
Clean and stock all supplies/staples in service and dining areas for the current meal, snacks, etc. as directed.
May be required to assist with product deliveries,ÂorganizationÂof inventory forÂthe kitchen, walk-in,Âstorerooms,Âand dining room as directed byÂheadÂchef.
Assist with the preparation of meals as assigned.
Provide excellent customer service in a prompt and courteous manner.
***Other functions:
Represent College Fresh withÂthe clients, including dorm residents and staff, corporate headquarters, local alumni, and house director or property manager on a daily basis.
Adhere to all management, client, local and state cleaning and sanitation procedures/regulations.
All other duties as assigned (as directed and/or agreed upon with Head Chef or Regional Manager).
***Requirements***:
Shifts start as early asÂ6am. Must be reliable for early morning shifts. No tolerance for lateness.
Normally requires a high school diploma.
Must be able to obtain, and maintain, any and all applicable licenses and certifications (e.g. state sanitation license or food handler's card).
EmployeeÂmust be able to stand on feet for several hours at a time and be able to lift 21-50 pounds. Weight restrictions may be accommodated with help from another kitchen staff person.
