Join our team! We are hiring Caregivers to work with Elders (Seniors) in Santa Barbara. Our Caregivers all share a passion for helping people, especially our senior community and we are looking to add several more caring people to our Santa Barbara team.
A bit about our company and philosophy of care: We take the time to get to know our clients and pride ourselves on fostering successful long-term relationships between Caregivers, clients and families. Training and Personal Introductions are provided for each new client/caregiver situation and support from our office staff is 24/7. We work very hard to ensure you have the tools you need to do your job with confidence.
A bit about the job and our clients: While there is no such thing as a typical client, you can expect to assist our Seniors with meal preparation/cooking, light housekeeping and other daily activities, including running errands or going to appointments. Some clients will need assistance with Personal Care, such as bathing, dressing and toileting; we also provide Memory Care and Hospice Services. Assignments will vary depending on your experience, comfort level, availability and each client's needs. As far as requirements, all candidates must be able to pass a Live Scan (fingerprinting), background check, drug and TB tests; you must also have a clean driving record. Our Caregivers have many different backgrounds and we welcome all levels of experience from Homemakers, students and Retirees to CNAs, HHAs and Nurses.
Day shifts are available as well as Evenings, Weekends and Overnights. Part time candidates are welcome.
