Morning and evening Shifts at private home residence for personal care needs (showering/toileting/dressing).
Flexible times, something like 6-8 a.m. and 6-8 p.m. daily. Plus, additional shifts for longer duration as can provide.
This is a temporary position as we look for a permanent live-in caregiver.
We are looking to place a responsible adult (nursing student or mature home health aide) in a very comfortable private cottage on the property of an 76 y.o. male homeowner who needs morning & evening personal care assistance. All paid rent and utilities, dedicated parking, and use of lovely patio & garden. Additional pay based on experienced CNA. Part-time morning and evening shifts, and two days per week on site required.
Morning routine includes setting out medications, showering/dressing, and assuring that the homeowner is getting up to a fresh cup of coffee. Evening routine requires setting out medications and assisting with toileting and adult diapers.
Although there are NO duties during the daytime and free to hold home-based/remote part-time job between 10-5, we are looking for a personable caregiver to be present if emergency emerges. Once weekly grocery shopping errand. The house has additional supports like housekeeper, gardener, dog-walker, assistant to keep presence.
Requirements: 21 yrs of age +, able to lift 50 lbs, drivers license w/ insurance, 2 personal and 2 work references. A background check will be conducted.
