Atlas Rehabilitation for Canines is looking for a qualified, motivated, and passionate individual to work part-time in the emerging field of animal rehabilitation! We are a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the physical rehabilitation of pets located on Upper State Street in Santa Barbara. We treat mostly dogs (but are open to the treatment of other small, domesticated animals) that are recovering from injury or surgery, managing chronic conditions, and more. We have the most current equipment and our highly trained staff is dedicated to improving the quality of life of pets.
We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate individual to join our team part time. Physical therapy and/or veterinarian experience is preferred, but not required as we are willing to train the right individual. Rehabilitation assistants are required to work with clients and patients, ensure the cleanliness of the facility, maintain equipment, answer phones, maintain patient care documentation, and more. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, be comfortable working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and be comfortable with client service. Basic computer skills (PC) are also required. We are looking for help on weekdays and Saturday mornings.
